摘要: The problems of measurement noise and low sensitivity of measured responses to local damage are addressed in this work. The components of responses with the most damage information and the least noise effect are isolated for subsequent damage detection. The response sensitivity-based method for damage detection is integrated with the singular spectrum analysis (SSA) technique for an enhancement of the response sensitivity. The measured response of the structure is SSA decomposed and the response sensitivity vectors as well as the computed response vectors are projected into the corresponding decomposition subspace. The projected identification equations associated with components which contain the least measurement noise and most damage information are then used to detect local damages in the structure. The proposed enhanced response sensitivity-based method is shown to be capable to yield more accurate identified results with noisy measurement in a planar truss structure compared to the conventional response sensitivity-based method.
